The Friends of the YRCC is a dedicated board of community leaders who work in collaboration with the City of Fayetteville to steward the mission of the Yvonne Richardson Community Center: shaping today’s youth for tomorrow’s challenges by providing recreational, educational, and social opportunities. While the City owns and operates the YRCC facility and programming, Friends of the YRCC works independently to support, promote, and fund this vital community space. Through fundraising, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we help ensure the Center continues to empower youth, strengthen families, and foster a thriving Fayetteville now and in the future.

The Board of Directors operates as a 501(c)(3) and was established in 1995 to serve as an advisory board to the Yvonne Richardson Center.
